My Favorite Nut Mylk

I love making my own almond cream at home.  This is so easy in the Vitamix.  You can also use any high speed blender.... If it comes out too "pulpy", strain it in a mesh strainer. 

I blend almonds (untoasted), 2 cups of almonds and 6 cups of water.  Blend until creamy.  Use in coffee, tea, cereal or just drink it plain. This is richer than milk and is wonderful in coffee. 

If you want it a little sweet, add 2 tablespoons of sweetener of choice.  I like turbinado sugar or maple syrup.  

Fresh batch to pour into a hot cup of coffee.  So delish!
